The Honest Thieves

In the heart of Mississippi, where the delta blues meets the ghost of Faulkner, The Honest Thieves were born from a necessity for longevity. After years of sharpening their skills as the backbone for other artists, the five members realized that their collective chemistry was too potent to remain a supporting act. They chose the name The Honest Thieves to reflect their philosophy: five skillful individuals working in unison to pull off the perfect musical heist with just enough mischief to keep things interesting.

Growing up in the '80s and '90s, the band’s DNA is a complex Southern tapestry. You can hear the classic storytelling of Jason Isbell and the heartland rock of Springsteen, but it’s filtered through the heavier rock and pop influences of their youth. The result is a sound that feels like a modern Old Fashioned—timeless, but with a sharp, contemporary kick.

Led by soulful, honest vocals and anchored by a locked-down rhythm section, their arrangements are defined by the iconic growl of a B3  organ and swampy lead guitar riffs. Whether they are performing melodic, mid-tempo journeys or foot stomping bangers like "Disappear" or the blue-collar anthem "Hands Like a Hammer," their music explores the duality of Southern life: the freedom of the highway and the heavy realities of life between the rivers.
